As vacuum metallization does not require conductive substrates for their process (the process takes place under vacuum and involves the sputtering of a material using a plasma), Surcotec is able to coat almost any substrate that can go under vacuum .

For this we can "prepare" any material that could not be treated directly electrochemically for toxicity reasons (Beryllium, ...), non-conductivity reasons (polymer, ceramic, ...) or incompatibility reasons (stainless steel, ...).

One of the many uses ot theses coatings is to prepare polymer parts that needs to be electroplated (decorative or thickening).
